Today it was the 70th anniversary of Pearl Harbor. I walked into AP U.S. History only to find capitalized on the board “WE WILL NEVER FORGET.” Right next to it was the word Pokemon with an ornate X drawn through it. It took the entire class a while to figure out that the word “Pokemon” was a reference to the Japanese kamikaze fighters. Who had drawn it on the board? Our Japanese U.S. History teacher. MLIA
